The Founding Spark

In 2008, Mohammed Vaid, our founder, asked one question: why are the most critical systems in healthcare held together by spreadsheets, manual processes, and institutional knowledge that walks out the door every evening?

He set out to build something different. Not a generic enterprise tool retrofitted for healthcare, but a purpose-built system designed from the ground up for payer operations.

Simplify Healthcare® has been a cornerstone of Simplify Group™ and the driving force behind my vision to transform payer operations. In partnership with Ruchir and our leadership team, I am excited to bring the next era of intelligent innovation to the health plans we serve.

Where We Are Going

What comes next will not look like what came before. AI is moving from a feature to a foundation. Health plans no longer want point tools. They want connected operations that learn over time, adapt to regulation, and stay grounded in their data.

Over the next three to five years, the Connected AI Platform will move from helping health plans run their operations to helping them anticipate them. Configuration that proposes itself. Compliance that flags itself. Member journeys that reshape themselves.

We are building the Connected AI Platform that lets every U.S. health plan run its most critical operations on one source of truth, instead of stitching them together across a dozen vendors. The point is not the AI. The point is what the AI lets the plan do for its members.
