Alpesh Patel

Alpesh is a seasoned Go-To-Market strategist and former Chief Revenue Officer at H1.co, where he helped drive hypergrowth in the healthcare SaaS space. Prior to that, he played a pivotal role in scaling DocuSign’s enterprise business from $200M to $2B in annual revenue as Vice President and General Manager.

He has held leadership positions at Salesforce, IBM, GE, and Motorola, bringing over two decades of experience in technology, enterprise sales, and revenue transformation across healthcare, financial services, telecom, and utilities.

Alpesh holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago and a Master’s in Computer Science from IIT Chicago. He is also a U.S. patent holder in healthcare innovation.

Josh Schoeller

Josh is the CEO of Qualifacts, a leading EHR platform for Behavioral Health, Rehabilitative, and Human Services. Josh brings over 30 years of experience building and managing a wide variety of healthcare data and software businesses. His industry experience spans provider, payer, pharmacy, life sciences, health technology, and government sectors, with specific domain expertise in Software as a Service, master data management, application architecture, predictive analytics, and decision support. Josh has a proven record of growing businesses, launching innovative products and services, and solving key market challenges across the dynamic healthcare landscape.

Before Qualifacts, Josh was with RELX where he served as the President of Clinical Solutions at Elsevier and Chief Executive Officer of the Healthcare business unit of LexisNexis Risk Solutions. Josh was also the Chief Solution Architect and founding Executive Leadership Team member at Enclarity, and he spent 15 years at FICO where he held various roles in IT, sales, and operations.

Kevin Riley

Kevin Riley is a member of the Board of Advisors at Simplify Healthcare. He is a senior executive with 25+ years of experience in healthcare and life sciences technology.

Kevin’s entrepreneurial spirit, executive acumen, and business model innovation are at the core of his professional journey. As the CEO of Zyter|TruCare, he transformed a legacy on-premises application into a thriving value-based care enablement Cloud company. At a major Cloud company, he oversaw all healthcare and life sciences products and customers, a $4.5B market. Before that, he built and managed the health and government business units at a VC-funded industry software company, taking them from nascency to acquisition by $2B. He was also the first Chief Innovation Officer in US health insurance and spearheaded several national retail health start-ups as an exec. He has held the role of President/CEO at several firms in the technology and health spaces. Kevin is also the architect of the award-winning healthcare business development methodology, modelH.

Krish Venkat

Krish is a member of the Board of Advisors at Simplify Healthcare. Krish is also an Operating Advisor at RECOGNIZE focused on the healthcare industry domain and a member of the Board of Sagility.

Krish spent over 20 years at Cognizant in various senior management roles. Most recently, Krish served as the Vice Chairman of Cognizant’s Healthcare & Life Sciences practice. During his tenure at Cognizant, Krish also served as the President of Healthcare & Life Sciences business unit, growing the practice to over $4.2 billion in revenue to be the second largest industry vertical in Cognizant and leading the practice to many accolades from leading industry analysts.

Krish began his career at Tata Consultancy Services and has worked for many years in technology consulting, banking, and insurance in Australia and the US.

Krish received his graduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and his undergrad degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India.

Dr. Martin Graf

Dr. Martin Graf is a Senior Partner at Oliver Wyman in their Health and Life Sciences Practice, where he brings over 25 years of executive leadership and consulting experience. A key force in shaping the firm’s healthcare strategy, he leads major franchises in Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace, Pharmacy Services, and their Senior Advisor Program.

Prior to his role at Oliver Wyman, Martin held senior leadership roles at UnitedHealth Group, L.E.K. Consulting, and Mars & Co, and started his career at United Technologies Corporation. He holds a PhD and two master’s degrees from MIT and a BS with honors from the University of Miami.

Marvin Richardson

Marvin Richardson is a member of the Board of Advisors at Simplify Healthcare. His industry expertise in healthcare, financial services, and technology has also driven keen insights in his board and advisory roles with firms such as Hopper Health, Availity, and Avaneer Health.

As Senior VP & CIO at Health Care Service Corporation, Marvin led a team of over 4,000 employees and consultants, delivering over $1 billion in annual value. As an entrepreneur, Marvin co-founded Trexin Consulting and led business development while scaling to 6 consecutive appearances on the Inc 5000 list before a successful exit. As CTO at Lante, Marvin helped drive organic and inorganic growth, supporting a “unicorn” IPO, dotcom crash survival, and subsequent private equity rollup into the firm now known as Razorfish. Marvin’s first entrepreneurship experience was as a pre-sales tech at Oracle, supporting 800% growth in 3 years.

Marvin’s recent recognitions include the 2021 CIO 100 Award.

Marvin holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba, Canada, distinguished with the Governor General’s Gold Medal for highest standing.

A passionate advocate for education and mentorship, Marvin co-founded and is board chair at Driving Forward, a non-profit benefiting first-generation and under-represented college students.

Terry Burke

Terry Burke is a strategic advisor for Simplify Healthcare. He is a Senior Healthcare Advisor for Oliver Wyman, specializing in the individual exchange market. His expertise ranges from building individual businesses for Payers to strategic transformation and P&L turnarounds.

Before Oliver Wyman, Burke spent a decade at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) as Vice President and segment leader of the individual business segment, holding full P&L responsibility, growing the individual business by eighty-three percent and sustaining a year-over-year positive margin.

Terry also held divisional and business segment P&L responsibilities for Anthem subsidiary UniCare Life & Health, Genworth Financial, General Electric Capital Assurance, and Trigon BlueCross BlueShield of Virginia.

Terry holds an MBA in marketing and entrepreneurship and a BBA in finance and actuarial science from the Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati. His professional credentialing includes Certified Healthcare Financial Professional, Certified Healthcare Storyteller, Certified Customer Experience Professional, Six Sigma Green Belt Certified, Registered Health Underwriter, Certified Senior Advisor, and Chartered Leadership Fellow.

Terry has held previous board positions with the Michigan chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), the JDRF chapter of southwestern Virginia, and was appointed as a board member to the Southwest Virginia Regional Health Planning Agency, responsible for evaluating medical facility Certificate of Public Need proposals.
